EUGENE, Ore. — A water main break in earlier September is still being worked on by the Eugene Water and Electric Board. The road is still down to one lane near 19th Avenue and Pearl Street while crews repair the 70-year-old pipe.
EWEB says the work has taken longer than expected because fixing the pipe has been a challenge.
To help make the street convenient for commuters and South Eugene High School, EWEB chose not to shut the road down.
The work is expected to be completed no later than October 11.
