EWEB Rents Parking Lot for Schools

EUGENE, Ore. — EWEB is helping local schools raise money during Oregon Duck games, and Saturday you can help them out too.

For $10, game-goers can use the parking lot at EWEB’s headquarters. Money raised goes to Willagillespie Elementary School this week. EWEB says it wants to help schools get funding for needed programs.

“We sent notices to all the schools back in spring and gave them the deadline for applications. About 30 schools applied and we pulled names out like a lottery. The first name out got their choice of what game they wanted,” said EWEB spokesperson Lance Robertson.

EWEB is a quick walk through Alton Baker Park to Autzen, and you can avoid all that game-day traffic along MLK Jr. Boulevard.
