EUGENE, Ore. — EWEB’s board of directors is meeting Tuesday night to discuss some possible rate increases, and you’ll have the opportunity to tell them what you think.
All of the increases would take place next year. Two would be electric rates–a 4-percent increase in May and another 4-percent increase in November.
There could also be a 30-percent rate increase for water, which would also happen in May.
The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. at the EWEB board room on 4th Avenue, but if you want your voice heard, there will be an extended public comment session at about 7:30 p.m.
There will be a public hearing on Nov. 6.

Why waste our time with a Meeting? Your minds are already made up to raise the Rates.
