EUGENE, Ore. — The wet weather certainly didn’t discourage runners, from getting out.
A number of people Monday said they don’t care it if it’s raining, they still brave the cold to get a good run in.
Runners say there’s never going to be a perfect time to run during the fall and winter in the Pacific Northwest.
“Even though it’s raining it’s still more interesting to run outside and plus, I think, I really like running distance because it’s challenging and difficult. So if it’s raining, it kind of adds a little extra element to that, makes it a little harder,” said runner Spencer Clark.
Clark says runners in Oregon are better at adapting to rain because they’re used to the wet weather.
