METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
The fog lingered for a long time Saturday, keeping temperatures on the cooler side through late afternoon.
An upper level low will move into the Pacific Northwest Sunday through Tuesday bringing some showers and cooler temperatures. Showers will be isolated and we’ll have a chance for a few thunderstorms. Temperatures will be in the 70s inland and 60s along the coast.
We’ll be in between systems Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures remaining in the 70s inland and 60s along the coast. Skies will be mostly sunny each day.
A stronger low will move into the area Friday and next weekend. This storm will have more moisture, meaning more widespread and heavier showers. Cooler air will also move in with highs falling closer to 70 degrees inland and 60s along the coast.
