ROSEBURG, Ore. — Boat traffic along part of the North Umpqua River is partially blocked due to a fallen tree. The Douglas County Sheriffs Office says the tree fell into the river near Hestness Landing, about a quarter mile north of Roseburg.
There is a small channel available to pass on the right side of the river, but the Sheriff’s Office advises boaters to use caution.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol and the Oregon State Marine Board is working on plans to the remove the tree.
