Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
Happy Fourth of July! A cloudy start outside this morning, but sunshine will quickly return. High temperatures this afternoon will be in the low to mid 80s inland and mid 60s along the coast. In time for fireworks Friday night, temperatures will be in the mid 60s inland and low 60s along the coast.
Sunny skies continue for the rest of the holiday weekend, but temperatures will begin to climb. Highs Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid to upper 80s in the Willamette Valley and Cascade foothills, near 90 degrees in the Umpqua Basin, and near 70 degrees along the coast.
Sunshine continues next week as high pressure is in full control. Temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 80s, near 90 degrees, inland and in the mid to upper 60s along the coast.
