Farms throughout the state take part in the week-long fest that showcases the state’s abundant lavender crop, but McKenzie River Lavender is the only farm in Lane County taking part.
It’ll feature lavender products and a petting zoo. Organizers say it’s a time for people to just learn more about lavender.
“It’s just such a gloriously relaxing, beautiful experience to just be among this really beautiful, beautiful plant. It’s intoxicating,” said Carol Tannenbaum of McKenzie River Lavender.
The festival starts Friday at 10 a.m. and lasts through Sunday.
