EUGENE, Ore. — A man was sentenced to prison for a fatal hit-and-run that killed a Dexter volunteer firefighter.
A Lane County judge sentenced Jason Manske to six years and three months in prison, three years of post-prison supervision, and will have his license revoked for life.
Manske was convicted of a hit-and-run that killed Bryson Krissie, a Lane Community College student, on June 6. Krissie was walking along 30th Avenue when Manske hit him.
Manske pleaded guilty to all charges, including hit-and-run and criminally negligent homicide, and also prior drug charges.
