METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A cloudy and cooler day Sunday as an upper level low moved just off the Pacific Northwest coast. The morning started off will some mist and drizzle across the area but most of the heavier showers and thunderstorms stayed mainly to our north and east. High temps were in the low 70s inland and mid 60s along the coast.
The low will continue to influence the area and bring light showers Sunday night and Monday morning, and again on Tuesday.
We’ll be in between systems Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures remaining in the 70s inland and 60s along the coast. Skies will be mostly sunny each day.
A stronger low will move into the area Friday and next weekend. This storm will have more moisture, meaning more widespread and heavier showers. Cooler air will also move in with highs falling closer to 70 degrees inland and 60s along the coast.
Have a super Sunday!
