The Fern Ridge Path along Amazon Creek will be under construction as part of a two-part project.
First, crews will work to stabilize the bank to prevent the eroding of the creek banks. After that project is finished, workers will focus on improving cracks and erosion in the path.
“These projects will improve the performance of the creek and the safety of the path once we get those cracks repaired and the lights working a little better. Then it’ll be safer out here,” said Patrick Cox, Project Manager.
The bank stabilization project starts this week and lasts through October. The path repairs will pick up right after and is expected to run through December. Route detours will be posted along the paths and online.
