Next year Boise, Idaho will be added to the lineup, the same weekend as Cape Blanco, July 31st through Aug. 2.
Seventy percent of attendees in Brownsville come from Portland and Washington, but organizers say they draw from the Boise market too.
“This will alleviate some of the pressures we have from sold-out events here. Cape Blanco did 15,000 units first year. We anticipate it will sell out its second year. And those people that are traveling from the Boise market can now go to our new festival in Boise,” said Anne Hankins, President of the Bi-Mart Willamette Country Music Festival.
Performers for Boise have not been announced.
Blake Shelton and Florida Georgia Line have been booked for Cape Blanco next year.
The 2015 lineup for Brownsville will be announced Friday.
