METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A bit of a cloudy start Sunday but mostly sunny skies returned for the afternoon. High temperatures were about 10 degrees cooler than Saturday, in the upper 60s inland and mid 50s along the coast.
A system will slide to our north Sunday night into Monday morning, most of the rain will stay up in Washington but a few rain bands will move through western Oregon. The showers will be isolated and quickly end by the late morning; partly sunny skies will return for the afternoon. High temperatures will be on the cooler side, near average, in the low 60s.
Another high pressure ridge will build in next week, bringing more sunshine and high temperatures into the upper 70s near 80 degrees. This warm, sunny and dry trend will continue through next weekend.
Have a wonderful week!
