About three-quarters of an acre burned near Pleasant Hill.
The Oregon Department of Forestry and Pleasant Hill Fire worked to control the flames.
Crews say the recent streak of dry weather is making even the most controlled fires more risky.
“With the dry conditions we’ve been running into quite a number of fires. Folks underestimate how dry it is out here and the potential for spread,” said Brian Dally, Department of Forestry Wildland Supervisor.
ODF says people should monitor their burns until the flames have died completely.
