A fire started on the 3700 block of Dove Lane about 7:30 Tuesday night. The fire apparently started inside the wall of the home.
Once on scene firefighters managed to locate the source. That’s when they made their move. They opened the wall and found a free-burning fire.
“There was a considerable amount of smoke coming from different points in the wall, inside and outside,” Eugene Fire Batt. Chief Craig Shelby said. “So they made a very aggressive interior attack.”
No one was hurt. A fire marshal was on scene to try and determine the exact cause.
The Red Cross was willing to help the family if needed.
