EUGENE, Ore. — A mobile home is a total loss after it went up in flames Monday morning, the Eugene Fire Department said.
Nineteen firefighters responded to the call around 4:30 a.m. Monday at a home in the 700 block of Highway 99 North. The fire started in a storage shed and spread to the mobile home. The flames were out within 20 minutes.
The two occupants and the dog living in the home made it out unharmed.
Eugene Water and Electric Board took care of some live wires involved. Officials say the house and shed were dangerously close to live power lines.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
