Fire Destroys Trailer in Junction City

EUGENE, Ore. — A 20-foot long trailer went up in flames in Junction City Wednesday morning.

The call came in around 7 a.m. from a living area where occupants can park their travel trailers. The trailer’s only occupant got out safely and was able to call for help.

“Remember, we’re getting into the winter time, so watch when it comes to heaters and space heaters, especially in small areas like this. They have a tendency to catch things on fire, so we really appreciate being aware of that,” said Chris Heppel, Lane Fire Authority Division Chief.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
