EUGENE, Ore. — Fourth of July is less than two weeks away.
Crossfire Ministries will help bring the sparkle to each celebration by manning six fireworks stands throughout Eugene and Springfield as a fundraiser. Thursday afternoon, trucks dropped off palettes of fireworks at each location, which will then be displayed on shelves for sale starting Saturday morning.
“With the Fourth of July coming up, it’s a great way to continue to keep money locally, but on top of that continue to help those people in our community who can’t help themselves,” said Crossfire Ministries member Chris Cheek.
Sale proceeds will fund several programs, including efforts to feed the homeless community.
