Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
A nice ridge has built into the area keeping showers well to our north. After some morning fog, mostly sunny skies will continue for Monday with high temps in the mid to upper 60s.
A weak front pushes in Tuesday night bringing a few showers and cooler temperatures. Isolated showers will continue Wednesday with highs near 60s.
A stronger low pressure system moves from the Gulf of Alaska into the Pacific Northwest for the second half of the week. This system will bring showers and a good shot of cold air. High temperatures will fall into the upper 40s in the Valley and Basin, and even colder at higher elevations. Snow level’s are expected to be near 2,500-3,000 feet by Thursday and remain at that level through the weekend.
Have a Wonderful Week!
