Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion

We remain in an unstable air mass Saturday keeping showers on and off; we should see a few peaks of the sun, unlike Friday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s across the area.

Cold air will move into the area ahead of the next low pressure system. Snow levels will drop to around 3,500 ft by Saturday night and meaning mountain passes will get a light dusting to a couple of inches of new snow.

The low will park itself in the Pacific Northwest for most of next week. Scattered rain and snow showers will continue across the area (snow showers will remain above 3,000 ft). With the center of the low just off the coast, we could be looking at gusty winds Sunday night through Wednesday. High temperatures for the next week will stay in the mid to upper 50s.

Have a Superb Saturday!
