METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A cloudy and foggy start to Sunday stalled our temperature climb, but high temps still managed to get into the 70s inland and near 60 along the coast.
We’ll start off Monday with a few areas of fog, but have plenty of sunshine by the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 70s in the valley, near 80 in the Umpqua Basin and low 60s along the coast.
Warm and sunny weather continues Tuesday and Wednesday as high pressure remains in control. A thermal trough will develop along the Pacific Coast, bringing very warm air into western Oregon. High temps will be in the upper 60s along the coast, low 80s for the valley and upper 80s for the Umpqua Basin.
Have a wonderful week!
