The local fish market in Eugene has been around for about 30 years.
It just expanded, adding new windows and cases for the various seafood. It was closed for four days–June 3-6–before re-opening. Employees say the reaction from customers has been good.
“They’re very reluctant that we would change anything. They really like the feel of it. So what I’ve heard is that they’re just happy that it maintained the same feel with increased space,” said Ed Lackington, retail manager.
Employees say they’re putting finishing touches on the building Tuesday. They say the final work won’t affect business.
