EUGENE, Ore. — Flu season is in full swing across the US. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention says 41 states are experiencing outbreak-like conditions; but in Oregon and specifically Lane County, the numbers are not rising as dramatically.
Lane County Health and Human Services attributes the small rise to people here being responsible by getting their flu shots.
“It’s still not too late to get the flu shot. Its good all the way through the flu season so January, February and we are right in the thick of it right now do definitely see your local health care provider,” said Jason Davis, Lane County Health and Human Services.
