METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Another cold start Saturday morning with lows in upper 20s. Eugene fell to 29 degrees by 7 a.m., Roseburg to 27 degrees, North Bend to 27 degrees and Bend to 0 degrees. Most of the area broke out of the fog by early afternoon, except for the Willamette Valley. The areas that saw sun warmed into the mid 30s, while communities in the valley struggled to make it to 30 degrees.
Fog will continue Sunday night, with areas of freezing fog. Monday morning lows will be in the low to mid 20s.
A high pressure ridge will remain in control of our weather for the week ahead, keeping the weather consistent and dry. Each day will begin fog with lows near 30 degrees. The fog will clear by the late morning and give way to mostly sunny skies. High temps will be in the upper 30s Monday and slowly climb into the upper 40s by mid week. There is no rain in the forecast for the next seven days.
Have a Magnificent Monday!
