Foggy Weather Sticks With Us

Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:

I’ve got one word for you. Fog! It was back again this morning and will be most mornings this week. Our low temperatures were back to the mid 30s again Monday morning, and with dew points also in he mid 30s, that meant fog formed easily and is sticking with us through the early afternoon. If you live outside of the valley, you have no idea what I’m talking about. The rest of the state was clear from sunrise and will be until sunset.

High pressure is still in full force over the Pacific Northwest. This means we’ll continue to stay dry with temperatures slightly above average for this time of year, in the low to mid 60s. This also means stagnant air and foggy mornings in the valleys.

This weather will likely hold through the weekend.

Have a great start to the week!
