It was over at the Lane County Youth Services building on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Students in the Martin Luther King Jr. Education Center Culinary Arts Program prepared and served the food.
“There are three things we’re working on all the time. One is community safety, that’s a priority the other is helping victims be whole again and repaying the community for the damage done. And the third is to give young people the skills they need to never come back to this system,” said John Aarons, Lane County Youth Services Assistant Manager.
It was a traditional holiday meal which included turkey, stuffing, lots of veggies and of course dessert.
