SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — The Springfield Public Library will host two, two-hour science workshops for 6th – 8th graders over the winter break. The workshops are presented by S.P.I.C.E. from the University of Oregon.
The workshops run from 1-3 p.m. each day. There is a limit of 20 participants per class, so pre-registration is required. To register call the library at 541-726-3766. These workshops are for middle school age children, ages 11-13. The workshops are free.
What: Middle School Science Workshops presented by SPICE: Waves and Light on Wednesday, Mix and Fizz on Thursday.
When: Wednesday, January 2, 2013 and Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 1-3pm each day.
