EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon State University is seeing an increase in freshman enrollment this year. School administrators say there are about 3,600 freshman enrolled for Fall Semester, a 3.5 percent increase from last year.
The school’s total enrollment is also up from last year, at more than 26,000 students, which includes distance learning and the OSU Cascade Campus students.
Also, this year’s freshman class has more high achieving students and more students that are applying for, and are eligible for, financial assistance.
