Friday’s Hole in the Wall BBQ Recipe

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs (boneless skinless)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger grated

Mix all ingredients together and marinate in a gallon Ziploc bag until ready to grill.  Grill over medium heat 8-10 minutes per side.  Serve with white rice and your favorite stir-fry vegetables.  If you like extra sauce for your chicken, use the marinade recipe and add 3 tbl cornstarch and heat on stove to thicken.



  • 1 ea pineapple (sliced with rind on)
  • 2 tbl fresh lime juice (1 lime)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tbl oil
  • 1 pint favorite ice cream

Melt butter, sugar and lime juice together in small sauce pan.  Rub pineapple lightly with oil and grill over medium heat for 2 minutes each side.  Brush on brown sugar glaze and grill one more minute on each side.  Remove from grill and serve with your favorite ice cream.
