EUGENE, Ore. — The grandson of peace activist Mahatma Gandhi is in Eugene Thursday night to give a lecture at Lane Community College.
Arun Gandhi went to live with his grandfather at the age of 12. He will share what his grandfather taught him, including the philosophy of nonviolence in a lecture called “Lessons from My Grandfather.”
The event is free and open to the public. It begins at 7 p.m. in the Center for Meeting and Learning on the LCC main campus.
