EUGENE, Ore. — Shoppers at Costco might have gotten a little more than they bargained for Thursday afternoon.
Eugene police used a percussion grenade to catch Beau Flynn in the middle of the Costco parking lot.
The 34-year-old has a hefty criminal history in Eugene dating back to his teenage years, as a central figure in a local gang.
Officers say his arrest should be a comfort to the entire community.
“It’s a collective sigh of relief. Every officer in our department, in Springfield, in Lane County, this was a guy who was on their radar, someone at the top of their list of people to get into custody,” said Sgt. Scott McKee, Eugene Police Department.
Police say he was seen lingering around the u-s bank on crescent drive. They think he may have been thinking of committing a bank robbery.

They think he was thinking…
I have no clue who this guy is or what he has done in the past. However, last time I checked, thinking of committing a crime is not actually punishable in a court of law.

Okay, so he has a history, But what did he do now other than “thinking” that got him arrested? Was there a warrant out? For what? Thinking?

Citizens can be arrested and convicted for conspiracy to commit any crime, whether or not the crime has occurred.
