SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — We’ve heard it before and we’ll hear it again: Gas prices are up. This time it’s up 12 cents in the past week, according to gasbuddy.com.
No one is surprised anymore when we come out to stations and tell them the prices have gone up, again.
Our highest weekly increase this summer was an 18-cent hike. That was back in the middle of May.
Overall, the highest price per gallon so far is $4.34, almost a dollar more than Monday’s price per gallon at the Arco station on Gateway Street.
