Justin’s Wednesday Night Forecast Discussion:
Getting chilly overnight with skies showing some light breaks in the clouds. Also, some light isolated showers may be seen over the next couple of nights too. Lows will start to fall into the upper 30s tonight, mid to low 30s later on in the week and weekend.
Both tomorrow and Friday will carry a chance for some light isolated to scattered showers with the jetstream pointed at the Northwest. None of the rain makers will be very strong but with the cold air moving in from the Gulf of Alaska, it’ll be a cold rain. Snow lines will be dropping into the 2500-3000 foot range so there will be some fresh snow (at least a few inches) at the Passes and plenty over the next few days at the ski resorts.
The weekend looks to dry out a bit, even though we’ll carry a small chance for a passing shower- what you’re really notice is the chilly air that’ll make it hard to get highs out of the mid 40s. Overnight lows also will sit in the low 30s so there may be some patchy frost both Saturday and Sunday. More showers are back by Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
Have a great Thursday!
