Girl Injured at 4th of July Parade

Police-LightsHARRISBURG, Ore. — The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says a young girl was severely injured during the Harrisburg 4th of July parade.

Deputies say the 7-year-old girl jumped off the float she was on with her dad. She fell, and then was ran over by a 10-foot single-axle trailer.

The girl was taken to RiverBend Hospital by Life Flight. Officers say she has a fractured hip but her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
