SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — The Springfield Christmas Parade will kick off Saturday at 1 p.m.
Participants will march from 21st and Olympic all the way to Pioneer Parkway and B Street.
Before the parade starts, about 60 people with tubas will perform a concert at noon in front of the Springfield Museum.
“We’ve had players beginning with intermediate school, you know what we call junior high school, I guess clear up to senior citizens in their late 80s and 90s,” said Bill Jensen, Oregon Tuba Association President.
The Harrisburg Festival of Lights will happen Saturday night as well.
