Harlem Globetrotters Combat Bullying

EUGENE, Ore. — The Harlem Globetrotters are known for their tricks on the court, but Wednesday they taught some local kids the tricks of dealing with bullies.

It’s part of the team’s ABC’s of bullying.

They spoke to students at Edison School in Eugene about what to do if they encounter bullies.

“If you’re being bullied, the number one thing you should do is tell an adult. Tell your teacher, tell your mom, tell your dad, tell someone other than your friends,” said “The Shot” Versher, Harlem Globetrotters.

Of course afterwards, they had some fun and the globetrotters even taught the kids some basketball skills too.
