EUGENE, Ore. — With so many classes and events already cancelled for Friday, many were out taking advantage of the fresh snow.
KEZI 9 News caught up with a group that broke out their sleds in north Eugene. They were all screams as they made their way down the hill.
Even though there was a layer of ice, there was no way the group was going to miss this opportunity.
“So we just waited until nighttime to come out and hang out and sled down with our friends,” said April Bridges.
“I literally screamed the whole way,” said Jessica Russell. “I think I lost my voice.”
“It’s fun, I guess. It brings you back to your childhood,” said Matthew Swinger. “It’s exciting I guess, something to spice up your night.”
The group couldn’t leave without a good snowball fight.
With temperatures in the mid-20s, they made sure they were bundled up.
