HONOLULU — In just over two years in Eugene, Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota has already become one of the most beloved Ducks of all-time. But his status among Duck fans in Oregon, is nothing to compared to how he is viewed in his home state of Hawai’i.

KEZI 9 News sports reporter Stephen Nelson, in Honolulu to cover Oregon State in the Hawai’i Bowl, went to Mariota’s old high school, Saint Louis School, to talk to the people that have known him since before he was the quarterback for one of the best college programs in the country.
