Hazmat Crews Respond to Home

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Hazmat crews were called to a Springfield home Wednesday night. However, it’s still not clear what they were called for.

They were working in the 4300 block of Forsythia for most of the night.

The state Fire Marshal’s Office also responded. Emergency crews said they were called out by officers.

“There was a potential criminal threat to it,” Springfield Batt. Chief Leldon Little said. “I need to let law enforcement do their side of it.”

Emergency crews did not say if anyone was injured or in danger.
