Head Start Students Learn About Weather

video preview image

EUGENE, Ore. — It’s never too early to start learning about the weather, and that’s exactly what the Whiteaker Head Start students in Ms. Harwell, Fugate, Lash and Watson’s classes have been doing.

KEZI 9 News Meteorologist Melissa Frey got the chance to visit with them this week and was very impressed by how much those little ones knew.

They’re quick learners, so we dove right into the vocabulary.

They talked about the water cycle, different types of clouds, evaporation and condensation, and they shared with her their weather song.

If you’d like one of the KEZI 9 News meteorologists to visit your classroom, email weather@kezi.com.
