METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A storm will move through the area Friday, with the cold front bringing the heaviest rain just after lunch. Wind gusts will be around 40 mph along the coast and 30 mph inland. Heavy rain will turn to showers heading into Friday night. The snowline will drop to 4,500 feet so expect a change over back to snow across the passes.
Showers will continue on and off Saturday through Tuesday as more storms swing through. Highs will be in the upper 50s with lows in the mid 40s.
Next chance for a “dry” day will be next Wednesday, but showers quickly return Wednesday night.
Have a good fantastic Friday!
