METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Heavy rain was the story for Friday. Many spots picked up 0.5-1″ of rainfall as of 6 p.m. Friday. Heavy rains turn to showers Friday night as a storm continues to spin off the Pacific Northwest coast.
Showers continue on and off Saturday, with snow showers above 3,000 feet. 1-3″ of new snow is possible across the passes. Winds will also remain gusty with the strongest wind gust along the coast around 40 mph and inland around 30 mph. High temperatures Saturday will be in the mid 50s.
Scattered showers continue Sunday through Tuesday as more storms swing through. High temps remain in the upper 50s with lows in the mid 40s.
Next chance for a dry day will be next Wednesday, but rain quickly returns Wednesday night.
Have a good wonderful weekend!
