St. Vincent de Paul is dipping and dying hundreds of bridal gowns to turn them into zombie bride costumes for Halloween. Managers say it’s the perfect way to use stained, damaged and unwanted dresses that no one was buying.
“Rather than just discard them and have them go someplace else, why not dye them and take advantage of this new market of zombies. I mean the living dead are definitely alive in Eugene,” said Terry McDonald, St. Vincent de Paul Executive Director.
There were also zombie bride accessories, like veils and hats.
The products are available at all St. Vincent de Paul retail stores.
