Highway 126 Ramps Closed

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — The eastbound ramps of the Highway 126 interchange were set up and running Monday morning, but the paving project continues Monday night on the westbound ramps.

Crews spent the weekend excavating and rebuilding the road sub grade of the eastbound portion of the 42nd Street interchange, and placed new asphalt on the ramps.

They’ll be doing the same to repair the westbound ramps starting at 7 p.m. and will continue until 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. During that time, motorists will be directed to use the Mohawk Boulevard and Marcola Road detours.
