EUGENE, Ore. — A two-vehicle crash in west Eugene sends a man to the hospital after his car flipped and trapped him inside Saturday evening.
Eugene police say the driver of a vanĀ failed to obey a traffic light at the intersection of Highway 99 and Roosevelt Blvd, hit a red Geo Tracker and seriously injured the driver, 65-year old Gary Wayne Stimson.
The driver of the van, Douglas Lee Price, 46, of Junction City was arrested and taken to Lane County Jail.
The intersection is back open after it was closed off for about two hours.
