EUGENE, Ore. – A local home care provider announced Tuesday that it’s hiring 35 new employees.
Home Instead says during the past two months it has seen an increase in clients, so it needs to hire more people to keep up with the demand.
On Tuesday it held five different information sessions for the 60 people who’ve already applied. It’s still accepting applications.
“We do the caring of the laundry, the groceries, making the bed, cooking some meals. Those kinds of things that become difficult and can be real barriers for their independence and staying at home,” said Nancy Nessmith, Home Instead Executive Director.
Since it’s had so many applicants, the company is adding two more info sessions on Thursday.
Anyone interested in any of these jobs can apply online.
