LEBANON, Ore. — Deputies in Linn County have arrested a man accused of a home invasion earlier this month.
Deputies say 49-year-old Faron Walter Kennedy was wearing a mask December 3, when he broke into a home on Bond Road. He reportedly stole a wallet from an 80-year-old man before threatening the man and his wife, telling them that if they did not cooperate he would either shoot them or burn down their house.
Police say later Kennedy wrote and cashed checks taken in the robbery. In addition to burglary and robbery charges, Kennedy is being held on outstanding warrants, fraud and firearm charges.
