Home Rescue Program Ending

NEDCO IDAEUGENE, Ore. — A state funded program that helps struggling homeowners keep their homes is coming to an end in Lane County.

The Home Rescue Program, run by NEDCO, provides qualified homeowners a year’s worth of mortgage payments, up to $30,000.

In Lane County, more than 400 have applied.

Homeowners have one more chance to apply for the program before it ends permanently on July 1.

    Good. Why should hard working, productive, responsible residents of other counties have to pay for Lane County deadbeats who bought more home than they could afford?
