Homes Evacuated Due to Brush Fire

oakridge fire 2OAKRIDGE, Ore. — A small brush fire Saturday forced the evacuation of a dozen homes.

The fire started around 5 p.m. at East Third and West Oak Road. Luckily, there were helicopters already staged in the area for the ongoing Staley Fire and the fire was put out quickly.

The fire charred two acres. There was not damage to the homes.
