Honoring Teen Hit by Car

Robin JensenCORVALLIS, Ore. — It’s been ten years since an 18-year-old Corvallis bicyclist was hit by a car and died, and now friends and family are honoring her in a special way.

Crescent Valley High School graduate Robin Jensen was on her way home from work when she was hit by a car.

The track and field program at C.V. was a huge part of her life, which is why her family wanted to build an athletic shed at the school in her memory.

With help from volunteers, their dream is coming true.

“I think her mom drives past here every day on her way to work, and to see a shed here that reminds her of her daughter, I think would be a great thing,” said volunteer Mark Hoffman.
